The Wii Zapper Review
The Wii Zapper is a fun and intuitive gun shaped holder for the wii remote and nunchuck. It works great with First Person Shooter games such as Resident Evil and Call of Duty. It also comes with a great mini game called "Link Crossbow Training". even though the wii zapper has an awkward like hold, it is a great addition to the wii. It is quite delicate though, so make sure you handle it with care. The trigger is located near the front and it is connected to the nunchuck. Also the front of the gun has a place for the wii mote which is the pointer that you aim with to shoot things with in the games that use this. The wires connecting the two are hidden so it wont bother you during the games. Now i will talk about the game that is bundled with the zapper. Link Crossbow Training is meant to introduce you to the wii zapper. It has 3 parts in one level. The first part of each level involves you shooting many targets. Wether they are moving or standing still, the targets are quite hard to hit. The second part of each level involves you shooting either more targets or the "bad guys" from the Twilight Princess game. These levels involve you using the nunchuck to direct yourself which can be a challenge at times. The final levels involve the bosses. The first few bosses are easy to beat but as you proceed they start to get harder. The final boss is quite hard but once you get the rhythm of things you can easily predict his next move. Then the challenging part of this game is the medals. You have to get 20,000 points to get a bronze which is easy. To get a silver you need 40,000 and this is pretty hard to get. To get a gold you need 60,000 and this is almost impossible to get. I have not gotten one gold yet. All in all the Wii Zapper is worth the price, especially since it include Link Crossbow Training. Therefore I have PASSED this game.
